Mobility is quickly becoming a huge consideration in the enterprise and because many developers and corporations are trying to find a way to make employee mobility a reality with reliable applications and software, TMC’s ITEXPO ( News - Alert) West 2009 is hosting a conference session entitled, “Creating Mobile Voice & Video Applications.”
The conference session is scheduled on Thursday September 3, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The speakers will discuss some of the more challenging components to consider when working to ensure a quality VoIP system, including choosing the correct speech codec, the impact of latency, and jitter buffer design.

Arjun Roychowdhury ( News - Alert) recently gave an interview with Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC where the two discussed the iPhone’s ( News - Alert) success and how it upended a traditional model where the network “was king and the device a pawn.”
