Alert) CK3 mobile computer has been certified to support RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management (WMS) solution.
RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management (WMS) solution provides a number of functions such as distributed order management to enable agile, efficient and lean distribution operations.
Delivering secure wireless communications in a highly durable hand-held package, the CK3 allows for both 1D and 2D barcode scanning, voice communication support, and options for RFID and mobile printing. Officials explain that the Intermec CK3 is smaller than several other handheld computers, but retains the same functionality. This will allow the clients to use RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management (WMS) solution to greater effect. Also, the CK3 can scan at an extended distance that results in easier and faster cycle counting.
Gary Jones, Intermec vice president of global channels and OEM, said that a number of IT professionals want a new product to easily integrate into their existing operations. RedPrairie’ addresses this need with their solution and also provides high quality service and support. He finds the company to be committed towards the success of both their partners and customers.
RedPrairie’s customers are extremely excited about the benefits of the Intermec CK3 mobile computer, according to Gary Morgan, RedPrairie vice president of Technology Services.
“Our solutions, particularly our Warehouse Management (WMS) solution, and theirs are made for each other – game-changing, all-purpose, and effective,” noted Morgan.
RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management (WMS) is a widely deployed solution. Earlier this week, RedPrairie announced that their RedPrairie WMS
helped Orefield Cold Storage (OCS Logistics) to improve its distribution operations. The solution delivered the capabilities OCS required to meet the needs of its demanding logistics service customers.
