Meraki’s customers range from operators covering individual buildings to large carriers connecting entire towns and regions.
For Zencos, the deal expands service offerings and enables the company to deal with wider array of customers.
"Meraki hardware will allow us to deploy and manage pay-for-use wireless networks quickly. The low price point tied with the data collection and advertising capabilities allows for small and midsize business to use their networks to enhance their customers experience much in the same way that larger hotels and resorts currently do," said Joe Costanzo, Zencos CTO.
Zencos says it will now provide all aspects of network deployment -- from site survey and installation to network support.
The agreement will also expand Zencos’ product and service offerings in the small and medium business (SMB) market, besides bolstering the solution vendor’s capacity to supply vital feedback to customers for more effective marketing and advertising initiatives.
"We see this as an expansion of our data collection capabilities for our customers," added Costanzo.
Meraki’s toolbar increases the ability for customers to deal better with special offers, announcements or any other type of marketing communication programs.
Meraki’s solution mainly targets mid-market companies in the hospitality and entertainment industries as well as educational institutions.
