Miyowa has developed the mobile Java version of Windows Live Messenger, which has been launched by Bouygues Telecom.
The alliance will enable Bouygues Telecom customers to use Windows Live Messenger, a popular instant messaging service in France, on their mobile phone and through Miyowa’s universal mobile instant messaging technology, MoveMessenger.

Miyowa points out that fifteen mobile operators are currently using MoveMessenger around the world. MoveMessenger can provide an end-to-end service, which incorporates content distribution and advertising capabilities, together with detailed billing information. The technology has become the mobile instant messaging service of choice amongst European operators.
Olivier Laury, director of i-mode and content for Bouygues Telecom said that Miyowa’s technology enables them to offer customers best-of-breed instant messaging.

According to Stephane Hareng, VP strategic marketing & customer operations Miyowa's mobile IM is exactly what mobile operators want because it matches perfectly with the needs of mobile consumers.
