Scott Wieder is a Director of Market Development for Cantata Technology. He is responsible for the strategy and positioning of Cantata’s VoIP business. He has over 20 years experience in senior marketing and sales positions with several networking companies, including 3Com, US Robotics and a variety of start-ups. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and masters degrees in electrical engineering and management from Northeastern University and the MIT Sloan School, respectively.
Nathan Franzmeier brings 20 years of telecommunications industry experience to Stratus Technologies. Nathan was founder and CEO at Emergent Network Solutions for four years prior to its acquisition by Stratus. Previously, he founded another successful startup, InterCall Communications, Inc., where he served as CEO for three years. InterCall became part of Lucent Technologies through acquisition in 1999. At Lucent, Nathan served as vice president of ITSP, Gateway and Converged Services Solutions, acting as head of R&D and engineering for the ExchangePlus product line until his departure in 2001. In the late 80’s and early 90’s, he founded Microcon, and held management and technology development positions at Texas Instruments. Nathan has an M.S. degree in computer science, with an electrical engineering minor, from Texas A&M University, where he also earned his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.
