FaxCore Executive to Speak at ITEXPO UC-SIP Trunking SummitTMCnet News Parker Colorado, Jan. 25, 2012 - FaxCore (News - Alert) announced today that Senior Vice President Max Schroeder would be taking part in the Unified Communications Day ITEXPO UC-SIP Trunking Summit Fax-over-IP (FoIP) Session at ITEXPO East 2012 in Miami Beach on Thursday, February 2, in ROOM B114-115 beginning at 2:00 pm.
Max Schroeder, FoIP Task Group Whip of the SIP Forum FoIP Interoperability Task Group will provide an overview of the Task Group and address the robust benefits of implementing the FoIP T.38 protocol within an enterprise network environment. The integration of FoIP with legacy technologies including PBX (News - Alert) integration and connecting to the PSTN will be key discussion points. The session will also review how FoIP can be utilized to leverage VoIP, imaging, Unified Communications (News - Alert) and workflow to reduce costs and improve productivity. As part of this session, Mike Coffee CEO of Commetrex (News - Alert) and Co-Chair of the SIP Forum FoIP Interoperability Task Group, will present an update on the progress of the ongoing SIP Forum and the i3 Forum testing program that completed Phase I in 2011.
