Big Contacts Reports Improved Web Site![]() By David Sims TMCnet Contributing Editor Big Contacts, a Web-based contact management and Sales Force Automation platform allowing companies to coordinate calendars and pipelines online, has announced the redesign of its Web site, www.BigContacts.com, to provide what company officials say will be "better access to tools and features.
"The updates made to BigContacts.com enable customers to better understand the CRM services that we provide," says Bob Walton, founder and managing member. One major change to the service is an enhanced Web support system, Walton says, which will "ensure more timely response to client questions."
The Big Contacts products page has been revamped to include multiple screencasts that explain product features in an easy to follow video format. The screencasts provide both an overview of the Big Contacts platform, as well as explanations of the various tools and functions inherent in the platform.
With the updated Web site, Big Contacts customers now have real time access to information while out of the office, allowing for quick retrieval of online calendars, contacts, tasks and more.
According to product user Sales Team Tools, it comes with a free service level and then tiered levels offering up to 25,000 contacts: "Looks like you can customize a sales pipeline as well, add products that are used to organize that pipeline, change contact types (i.e., Friend, Family, Prospect, Client, etc.), and add custom fields, among other things."
"It's becoming very common that new businesses are being launched from mobile offices more than ever before," Business Pundit notes. "The days of finding office space for all your office equipment, filing cabinets and expensive phone systems are giving way to a laptop computer, a mobile phone and an Internet connection. Building a mobile office can afford you to work anywhere in the world."
User Legal Andrew notes that the free version of BigContacts "allows up to 500 contact entries. You can get up to 1,000 for $11.95 per month. And you can get even more space for a bit more per month."
