XConnect’s solutions address protocol interoperability, Electronic Numbering (ENUM) directory services, and security and policy management dedicated to connecting telecom operators and enabling rich multi-media end-to -end IP communications, said company Web site.
"VoIP Logic's (News - Alert) inclusion of XConnect's services in their eco-system of solutions demonstrates that registry-based services are of strategic value to next generation operators," said Eli Katz (News - Alert), founder and CEO of XConnect, in a statement published in Marketwire.
"The more than 150 service providers that rely on VoIP Logic for comprehensive managed services will now be able to reduce their termination costs and offer the innovative new services that multi-lateral VoIP Peering (News - Alert) enables,” added Katz.
VoIP Logic’s Cortex System Management Portal is a flexible middleware
Using Cortex platform as its standard, VoIP Logic enables telecommunications service providers to build and scale complex enterprise, consumer, wholesale and Web 2.0 voice solutions with limited initial capital outlay or ongoing operational expense, said the official Web site.
VoIP Logic model can be deployed as a hosted or premise-based standalone application. The application is built on Enterprise Java platform using EJB and Web Services technologies. It can be deployed on a variety of hardware and operating system environments including Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
"XConnect's VoIP Peering services enable more calls to stay on-net and positions service providers to offer their customers wide-band codecs, video and other new services enhancements that can only exist on IP calls," said Micah Singer, VoIP Logic CEO, in a statement.
Singer hoped that the partnership would result in a successful and mutually beneficial relationship.
