LifeSize Connects and Enhances Operations for CommonTime

LifeSize announced today that their video communications have been chosen by wireless and mobile software provider CommonTime to help further the development of customer support for their locations in the US and UK.

 

After first taking on videoconferencing in 2000, the company saw network restrictions and resolution issues that made it a not-so-effective form of communication for their business. As their operations expanded in the US, the company once again turned to videoconferencing and was introduced to LifeSize by Questmar Limited, a videoconferencing specialist and LifeSize channel partner.

 

Since their introduction, Questmark has installed LifeSize Room throughout their US and UK offices, making it possible to now hold daily meetings in both country locations to collaborate on solutions for improving their customer support.

 

“When Questmark demonstrated LifeSize Room, it was truly a revelation and totally changed how we viewed videoconferencing.  We could not believe the quality of the video and audio, the ability to share PC based materials in their native form, and the fact that the call we were seeing between our operations in the UK and US was running on the Internet,” commented Nigel Mackrill, managing director at CommonTime in a statement.

The news release also noted CommonTime's purchase of LifeSize Phones for "high definition audio conferencing from the offices to home workers and temporary field-based operations."
