SoundBite Communications Establishes Growth in AVM Market

TMCnet Assistant Editor

Automated voice messaging provides companies with a solution for better communications using pre-recorded messages that are interactive and highly personalized. These solutions save time, money and guarantee better results.

The market for these solutions is on the rise according to industry analyst, Walt Tetschner of Tern Systems, who noted in a recent news release that the Automated Voice Messaging Market (AVM) topped $360 million in 2005 and will continue to rise.

Supporting these advanced messaging capabilities are solutions from SoundBite Communications (News - Alert) whose automated customer contact solutions currently provide over 250 organizations across various industries with efficient customer contact services.

Pointing to advancements in their solution, investments in their infrastructure and core technology and key executive appointments, the company projects growth doubling their number of messages delivered in 2005, for the upcoming year.

Upgrading their solution and releasing a new version of their software this year, which included new features for creating improved AVM campaigns, is one of the reasons for their success, the company notes in a recent news release.

They also point to their investments in infrastructure and core technology as well as the addition of a co-location facility in Virginia to keep up with demand and continue to provide reliable on demand services.

Key new hires Bob Leahy, who joined the  executive team as chief operation officer, focusing specifically on operational efficiency and both Eric Giler and James Roszkowski who joined the SoundBite Board of Directors are all noted for helping to increase the companies foothold in the market.

"SoundBite has benefited from the phenomenal adoption of automated voice messaging solutions over the past two years, and we are well positioned to take further advantage of the growing demand for compelling customer contact solutions, commented Peter Shields, president and CEO, SoundBite in a statement to the press.

Just last month, SoundBite Communications made news when they announced a partnership with Mindshare Technologies to develop and deliver on demand Customer Experience Management and Monitoring products.
