One of the tools that can help you to easier manage your social networking is also gaining in popularity and users, as HootSuite has recently announced that they crested the 3 million user mark. HootSuite is a social media management site that operates on your desktop and can actually allow you to run multiple social networking sites from one simple interface.

HootSuite has been growing in popularity much the same way social networking has, as more users are starting to see the many advantages that the software can provide. The HootSuite application is even starting to look like a tool that corporate social network users can make good use of. The company also credits the fact that not long ago they launched an app directory platform that makes the tools they offer even more valuable. 

Now a new HootSuite user in Brazil has managed to get the company over that magical 3 million user mark. The tool has also seen a grand total of more than 700 million sent messages through its desktop application and has seen monumental growth in just the last six months. In July of 2011, Hootsuite hit the 2 million user mark, with another million users and brands coming on board in the last six months.

That growth has been in large part thanks to the app directory that allowed users to connect to many more sites. Some of those sites have been ones like Google+ and Facebook groups, but the real success has come from being able to link up with less traditional sites such as Flikr, Formulists and Constant Contact (News - Alert). 

This particular tool is truly for the serial social networker who don’t want to have seven different windows open in order to talk to all of their friends. The company shows no signs of slowing down as the social networking trends continue to pick up.
