After last week’s debacle of refunds and confused customers abroad, Apple (News - Alert) clears the issue up with new post stating the exact details of iTunes Match internationally.

The iTunes Match is a new subscription service that holds all your downloaded music in the iCloud. Regardless if the music was purchased through iTunes or imported from CDs, the application matches which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes store and automatically adds them to your iCloud library.

Although the application was praised by many when it was first released, it didn’t have the same effect on international users when it gave them a “will not function” message. Now with new details from Apple, users abroad can understand what media content is available for them in which countries.

On Apple’s support site, tables show users what content is available for download in what country. Content includes music, TV shows, apps, books and music videos. According to Apple, there are currently 17 countries on the list for iTunes Match internationally.

Countries include: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. Brazil is said to have iTunes Match as well, yet it is not listed on the site.

Once the customer knows what is available for download they can enable the Automatic Download feature on your computer or device. However, as reported by Gigaom, not all countries offer TV shows, but almost all supply apps and books.

Also included in the support document from Apple is more information regarding the iCloud. The table shows you what type of purchases can be re-downloaded onto your device in each country. As of right now there are reportedly over 120 countries worldwide on the list.
