- High-Speed

- Pedestrian

This is a system that is capable of picking up pedestrian movement. Therefore, it can determine whether or not the vehicle will make a collision with a person walking by.

- Auto-Steering

This specific feature doesn't mean that the car is capable of driving itself. Instead, it's a feature that deploys when the vehicle senses it may be involved in a collision. It is capable of taking control of the wheel to avoid collisions while staying in the requisite traffic lane. A lot of these systems work together synergistically with the automatic emergency braking system.

2. Reverse Cameras

This isn't something that is brand new. This technology has been around for several years. However, previously you had to get it installed from a third-party after buying your vehicle. Nowadays, you will be able to get it pre-installed as a lot of manufacturers are putting them into even budget models.

This is great because a lot of vehicles are involved in parking lot accidents every year. By having a rear camera, it can minimize these accidents. It will allow the driver to have an unobstructed view of the area behind their vehicle. It will even show how close they are to certain objects behind their vehicle with colored indicators that will show how close the driver is to hit something. Typically, these cameras are paired with rear-cross-traffic alerts that will beep when a vehicle, person, or object gets close while driving.

3. Autonomous Cruise Control

There has been a very useful cruise control feature in vehicles for years and years. This feature has been and continues to be very useful. It can especially help when driving long distances. However, there were a lot of issues with the system as it was in place which made it dangerous for drivers in certain situations. This is where automatic cruise control comes into play.

With the newer system, it will automatically adjust the speed to maintain a safe distance from the car or vehicle you are driving behind. This means you won't find yourself having to quickly decrease speed by slamming on your brakes if the vehicle ahead of you suddenly stops.
