Bicom Systems Introduces New Products at ITEXPO

By Michael Guta, Contributing Writer

ITEXPO (News - Alert) is the venue for tech companies to introduce innovations for the line of products they have, or all together announce new solutions. And at the 2016 ITEXPO, Bicom Systems, a global provider of professional open standards turnkey telephony platform, will debut its new IP Key System and new versions of PBXware and gloCOM.

For companies that provide IP telephony, it is now possible to establish services without the hardware and infrastructure that used to be essential with non-digital deployments. Since Bicom launched its PBXware software in 2004 and became the first open standards turnkey telephony, it has made turnkey solutions available to enterprises, governments and SMBs globally with the flexibility to address their communications need.

As reported by Paula Bernier, Stephen Wingfield, Bicom Systems account manager, said the new solution will address the needs of SMBs as they transition from the current analog key systems they still might be using. The new key system supports SIP, with features such as provision, call control, presence and more.

Bicom’s gloCOM has been designed to provide a comprehensive communications solution capable of integrating many of the technologies available in the marketplace. It gives provides high quality voice and video calls, instant messaging, voice conferencing, files exchange, faxing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) integration and more.

In version 4.0, gloCOM will expand these features with more compatibility, including CRMs such as Salesforce, SugarCRM (News - Alert), Zoho and Zendesk. For call center operators, they can now record a conversation during any point, which is key for regulatory compliance, delivering better customer service and training agents.

The PBXware has been around since the inception of Bicom, and according to the company, it is the world's first and most mature IP PBX (News - Alert) professional open standards turnkey telephony platform. It supports a range of PSTN and VoIP technologies offered to businesses, call centers and multi-tenant editions that can be easily scaled with reliability and performance.

The new features on PBXware 4.0 include: multiple client registration to single extension simultaneously; hot desking, a feature that lets employees work on any desk in the organization thereby eliminating the need to assign permanent desks; improved TLS security with support for SIP TLS and SRTP in integration with gloCOM; and more.

Bicom Systems is in booth 323 at the 2016 ITEXPO, which is currently running until Jan. 28, 2016.
