Dell Announces the Release of Unified Communications Command Suite

Dell (News - Alert) has recently announced its new UC software to help businesses improve operation efficiencies and make better business decisions. Unified Communications Command Suite, (UCCS), is an exciting development for Dell. It is the only Dell software that offers analytics and diagnostics across Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange and Lync.



The Unified Communications Command Suite is a scalable platform that is designed to help organizations gain better insight into their UC investment. The suite removes barriers that are normally associated with employee adoption and provides high-quality user experiences. UCCS delivers a flexible solution to the complicated process of managing multiple communication platforms. The suite strives to increase user productivity, encourage adoption, protect sensitive information, throttle ROI and plan for future growth and migrations.

To maintain a fully connected business, organizations spend excessive amounts of money surrounding unified communications solutions, but rarely have the correct insight to how these solutions are used. In a survey conducted by Dimensional Research, on Lync adoption and challenges confirms that organizations cannot easily report on savings, and cannot report if they have met their cost reduction goals. Along with this, only 17 percent of those surveyed have a dedicated position to Lync, leaving UC management up to IT administrators who have other duties they are usually more focused on. These results exemplify that organizations need a guiding hand to close to gap in knowledge surrounding UC platforms.

This is where Dell’s new UC command suite comes into play. It addresses these problems with its cross-platform management approach that offers deep-dive analytics and diagnostics. It provides a platform to turn data into usable information.
