Five Bad Sales Habits to Quit Right Now

Everyone has bad habits, whether it’s procrastinating or eating too much fast food. When it comes to business, however, bad habits can weaken the success of your sales strategy.

Below are five common sales habits to quit this year.

1. Taking on Too Much Too Fast: While ambition is a virtue -- especially in sales -- don’t take on too much too soon. Avoid overstuffing the pipeline with so many deals that it becomes almost impossible to tend to all of them. If you’re an over scheduler, odds are you aren’t giving each deal the attention it requires. Therefore, try pacing yourself by setting mini goals throughout the day.
