As a food manufacturer, the job does not start—or end—with your organization. You do not grow food in your facility, and you do not place it by hand into the refrigerators and store locations around the world. You outsource the bulk of your production operations, assemble goods and ship them out to your vendors.



Unfortunately, a lot of food gets lost along the way due to supply chain inefficiency. In fact, a recent report issued by the World Economic Forum indicates that supply chain inefficiency contributes to about 1.3 billion tons of lost food every year.
