Many companies look at enterprise quality management with the need to improve current quality control software systems. It can be hard to gain value from proprietary IT systems due to the lack of a single quality control hub with many systems. While homegrown IT systems can still be used, a good tactic is to string the disparate systems together into a single data repository where data can be analyzed and interpreted globally.
