For one, its image sensors capture the scene and display it through its electronic view finder, with quality so clear it’s indistinguishable from reality. Also, it can take videos and pictures of the scene, with the option of doing it in 3D, thanks to its stereoscopic nature.

Further, the DEV-50V is smaller than the digital binoculars that came before it and it boasts improved resistance to dust and water. Its zoom lens performance has improved as well, ranging from .8X to 12X. And its digital zoom is even more powerful than that, reaching up to 25X.

It is also important to note the significant improvement made to its electronic view finder, which has an OLED display with 1024x768 resolution.
