Small Businesses Using Batchbook Can ID Important Relationships, Gain More Customers

By Ed Silverstein, TMCnet Contributor

Batchbook provides customer relationship management (CRM) software for smaller businesses and other kinds of similar-sized organizations. This leads to having more customers.

“What we basically do is allow small businesses to identify the right relationships so that they can build customers,” Ray Bonachea, vice president of marketing at Batchbook, told TMC’s (News - Alert) Stefanie Mosca during an interview at ITEXPO in Miami. “Being able to identify the right relationships to go after – and kind of remove all of the other noise from around you – is going to make you much more efficient and help build your business.” He also took part in an ITEXPO (News - Alert) panel discussion, “Your Customers are Your Champions of Growth."

He said that many small businesses may find they have limited time and limited money – so the company’s solutions are properly targeted to the unique needs of these kinds of organizations.

Their solutions are cloud-accessible and can be adopted for individuals or for groups. They are also easy to use and are economical. Also, they offer social integration, details management, lists of things to-do, advanced searches, reporting and list building, the company explained.

Recently, Batchbook relaunched its app and a new version of a mobile app. Batchbook and Xero, an accounting software system, recently integrated so there can be stronger relationships with customers and vendors.  Sales and marketing staff now can get access to needed financial data in a secure fashion – to see what customers have purchased and when they purchased it. It leads to more efficient organization of customer data, open invoices and to-do lists, the company said.

Also, the company has created many integration partnerships.

In a recent announcement, Batchbook said its social CRM software integrated with HootSuite, which provides a social media management system. It lets businesses remain socially connected with contacts and provides businesses more insight into tweets, posts on Facebook (News - Alert) or conversations on social media. HootSuite also lets businesses interact with an audience and get analysis of campaigns on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google (News - Alert)+ Pages via a Web-based dashboard. Such information offers better relationships to increase the level of business. The Batchbook application is found in the HootSuite App Directory.

In addition, social CRM lets businesses see into data and what customers are posting and discussing – and see if they are talking about your business.

“Once a customer is engaging with you and they’re talking to your brand, that is a ‘champion,’” Bonachea said. “Those are the people who are going to go out there and bring you other customers. Being able to identify those … people … that is a key to building your business quickly and efficiently.”
