Polycom (News - Alert) has named its Global and EMEA System Integrator of the Year, and the honor goes to Dimension Data. This makes Dimension Data’s (News - Alert) second year receiving this award, indicating the quality of its services and solutions.
Dimension Data is known for its planning, integration, deployment, and managed services for Unified Communication and Collaboration, based on technology from Polycom and Microsoft (News - Alert). Thanks to its achievements in 2012, which helped Polycom’s business across the world, including improved performance, customer focus, and great sales, Polycom deemed it worthy of its Partner Awards.
"We are proud to be recognized by Polycom for our excellence in execution for two consecutive years," says Graham Parker, Dimension Data's Operations Director of Global Solutions and Services. "Together with Polycom, Dimension Data is meeting client demand for end-to-end solutions based on the Microsoft Lync platform. Being acknowledged by Polycom for this work is great validation of our investments and vision in the evolving UC&C marketplace"
The awards themselves are given to global partners whose achievements have had an impact on Polycom itself. There are rewards for each of the company’s operating region, as well as individual countries, and Dimension Data is taking home two, for both worldwide achievements and those specifically in EMEA.
"In an ever-changing, rapidly growing market, it's critical to have partners like Dimension Data, who can help us meet our customer's complete business needs with transformative solutions and tailored UC&C offerings that enable people to work and collaborate better," says Ron Myers, Polycom’s senior VP of worldwide channels. "We congratulate Dimension Data for their continued excellence"
Dimension Data has worked hard in 2012, and that work is paying off nicely. It doesn’t need any award to show for the growth and achievements it’s made, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. So congratulations to Dimension Data for your achievement and recognition from Polycom. Let’s see if 2013 will be its third year in a row to win it.
