Hear ye, Hear ye: Edgewater Thought Leader Telling All at ITEXPO Miami 2013

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Are you desperately in need of some fun in the sun but can’t bear to leave your love for technology at on the sand while you navigate through the ocean blue? Don’t worry now you can both, just pack your bags and head to ITEXPO Miami 2013, happening right now to February 1, where it was just revealed the one and only Dave Martin, vice president of Marketing, Edgewater Networks will be presenting at both ITEXPO and Asterisk (News - Alert) World 2013 in Miami, Fla.

During ITEXPO, Martin will be present in not one but two panel discussions including “Why Your Enterprise Network Needs an SBC” which just wrapped up and occurred from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. and “UC and Collaboration: How to Take Good Network QoS and Make it Great” from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m.

In addition, he will be taking part in the not-to-miss session titled, “Best Practices for Connecting your Asterisk System to SIP Trunking Services,” slated to take place tomorrow, January 31 from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Martin is an ideal and extremely seasoned speaker who has a long history of attending important conferences including the Internet Telephony Conference & Expo, Broadsoft Connections conferences, Polycom (News - Alert) User Group, Metaswitch Partners conference as well as spearheading many public webinars.

Edgewater Networks is touted as powering a robust suite of enterprise session border controllers (ESBC) that can eliminate obstacles routinely facing companies who want to leverage unified communications in a highly secure environment.

Not only can its products enable any organization to see a dramatic reduction in both network and operational expenses spanning from the customer premises to the core of the network, but the EdgeMarc Enterprise Session Border Controller encompasses key capabilities such as: VoIP aware NAT/Firewall, VoIP survivability, passive call quality monitoring and an intuitive traffic management feature.

Further, the EdgeConnect managed Power over Ethernet switches allows administration divisions to increase visibility into every action taking place on the network, and the EdgeView VoIP Support System includes proactive call quality monitoring, plug and dial IP phone configuration, and the ability to manage and maintain VoIP endpoints from nearly anywhere and at any time.

Always remaining at the edge of technological innovation, TMCnet reported in October that the company’s newly launched PBX (News - Alert) interoperability certification program coined Quick Connection will benefit service providers as they can now utilize Edgewater’s interoperability labs as opposed to being forced to perform tests internally.

Dave Norman, chief executive officer at Edgewater Networks (News - Alert), commented in a statement at the time that, “SIP is great framework but does not guarantee interoperability due to different interpretations of the standard by manufacturers. Quick Connect provides customized testing against the unique infrastructure of each service provider with industry leading voice and video equipment.”
