By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

The song “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” couldn’t apply any more to current temperatures around the East Coast. Luckily, ITEXPO (News - Alert) Miami 2013 in -- yup, you guessed it -- Miami, Fla. is right around the corner to warm up those of us feeling mighty chilly. Today in fact, it was just revealed that Jeff Dworkin, director of Marketing, Sangoma Technologies (News - Alert) Corporation, will be spearheading two not-to-miss sessions during the exciting semi-annual event.

While Sangoma is known throughout the world as an innovative hardware and software components provider whose solutions can be seamlessly integrated with nearly any IP communications system, Dworkin will be representing the company through his attendance during the session coined, “Why Your Enterprise Network Needs an SBC,” slated to occur on Wednesday January 30 at 9:00 a.m. During the informative lecture, industry experts along with Sangoma’s marketing director will be highlighting the reasons behind companies needing devices that are extremely scalable, can power IP-to-IP voice and video connectivity, as well as intertwine various networks, cloud and services.

“As more applications and services are delivered from the cloud, the need for secure and managed connectivity continues to grow,” Dworkin stated in a recent interview with TMCnet. “This also caused an increase in the number of connections that any network administrator has to manage. As with any connection between networks, there is an ever increasing need to efficiently and seamlessly ensure secure network access and efficient interoperation.”

Additionally, Dworkin will also be present during the session titled, “The Future of Desktop Communications and Collaboration," on Friday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m.  This panel will be closely analyzing next generation technology and how it is allowing employees and individuals alike to leverage mobility and unified communication offerings.

He added, “Along with all of the capabilities enabled through mobile devices, extension of the workday and the worksite through advanced collaboration tools including Microsoft’s (News - Alert) Lync, and the rapid growth of SIP trunking, there is also an even greater need for security and control at the network borders. Session border controllers are becoming table-stakes in many enterprise and service provider networks, and will continue to evolve to address the rapidly expanding IP universe of connections.”

Sangoma will also be showcasing its intuitive solutions during ITEXPO Miami 2013 in booth #501 and is a Gold Sponsor for the exciting conference.

Sangoma is a Gold sponsor of ITEXPO Miami 2013, taking place Jan. 29- Feb 1, in Miami, Florida. Visit Sangoma in booth #501. For more information on ITEXPO Miami 2013, click here.
