Taylor Morrison Merges Home Design with Next-Generation Technology

By Monica Gleberman, Contributing Writer

Taylor Morrison, a private homebuilder, is launching a brand new Interactive Home system that will help new homeowners afford the latest in next-generation technology.

The new system will offer everything to make a home completely high-tech, including an LCD command center, surveillance, complete house audio system, an intercom and camera monitoring.

The North American company specializes in building mid-to-upscale homes. “A new home is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s an essential part of who you are. At Taylor Morrison, we create the most exciting new homes imaginable, set them in vibrant neighborhoods and invite people to invest in their dreams,” said Taylor Morrison.

The company has designed and built homes in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida and Texas.

“From pre-construction one-on-one meetings between you and your builder to scheduled inspections throughout the building process, and scheduled follow up during the warranty period to take care of any needed repairs – at Taylor Morrison homebuilding is a collaborative partnership,” the homebuilder added.

Since development, the company has been working hard to provide services and technology within the home that other companies just can’t provide.

“We focused on providing solutions to the questions our homebuyers had been asking us for years about technology in the home,” Haywood-Rino said in a statement. “We’ve been committed to staying ahead of the industry with our technology solutions, and the national rollout of the Interactive Home system proves that on a large scale.”

Taylor Morrison CEO and president, Sheryl Palmer, said she is excited to bring the latest in technology into people’s daily lives through the comfort of their own home.

“Smartphones, tablet PCs and the increased capabilities of the Internet started these conversations with our homebuyers, and we responded with the Interactive Home system,” said Palmer.

“By working with partners like Legrand, we’re making it possible to control your lighting or see who’s at the front door from these devices. Taylor Morrison is proud to deliver these outstanding solutions to our buyers…Home buyers have been waiting for their devices and homes to merge and provide the level of connectivity that has been promised for so long,” Palmer added. “With the Interactive Home system, that day has finally arrived.”
