Verivo Software Helps Enterprises Extend Their Core Systems to Mobile Apps

By Rich Steeves, TMCnet Web Editor

These days, so many companies are thinking mobile first. When salespeople are out on the road, they want to be able to use their mobile devices, whether tablets or smartphones, to enhance their selling capabilities and experience. But while some companies just slap a mobile version of their CRM software on a smartphone, one company, Verivo Software, has instead opted to provide a platform to its clients that allows for integration of many valuable applications in one simple package.

The mobility platform company works with enterprise customers, both large and mid-sized. It allows companies to expand their core systems to mobile apps, and CRM is just one component of that. In an exclusive interview with Christopher Willis, CMO of Verivo Software, he said that many companies claim to have the mobile answer, but in reality, they are just promoting an extension of their own system. Verivo, on the other hand, has a different approach.

Verivo knows that customers want CRM as part of a solution, and that oftentimes, merely converting a desktop CRM solution to a smaller form factor can be inconvenient. He says that the right application would combine CRM with other back end systems to really empower salespeople.

With Verivo’s enterprise platform, companies can combine CRM with sales data, analytics and more, making salespeople better at what they do. They can get more than just the name of a customer; they can get a complete picture. Verivo can matchup with any system, bringing them all together in one app. And this app can bring some or all of the available information to bear, focusing on the most important data.

In some cases, the apps created on Verivo’s platform can bring in all sorts of information, from weather to news to maps that show locations of customers. The Verivo platform is available for Android, BlackBerry (News - Alert), iPad and iPhone, and is perfect for the BYOD trend, according to T.L. Neff, EVP of global client services at Verivo.

The company has been around for 10 years, and is proud of the flexibility of its platform. Customers can take a starter app and then build what they need. According to Neff and Willis, Verivo offers speed and efficiency, allowing companies to build and deploy simultaneously and make changes in real time. Verivo offers the only enterprise-grade platform that allows companies to create their own mobility. It has found 2012 to be a special year, and sees only a bright future ahead…
