Depending on how old you are, the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words Agent Orange (News - Alert) could make you think about a deadly chemical or a punk band. If you need a mess cleaned up in the London metro area, however, it may be just the name you want to hear.
Agent Orange was formed in 1998 specifically to provide environmental services to local authorities and housing associations – the aim was to bring a professional, reliable and cost-effective service provision for traditionally high-risk, awkward and specialist work areas.
The company now works for the majority of local authorities and housing associations within Greater London along with a multitude of construction firms, facilities management companies and commercial organizations. From simple, honest sole trader beginnings, the company has maintained a solid 15 percent growth year on year primarily through a focus on customer satisfaction, safe risk and value for money.
Agent Orange is hoping increase its productivity and keep its edge in the market by pairing up with another company. The company in question, Ctrack, is being brought in to make the fleet of trucks run more efficiently. They will be installing a custom system in 71 trucks that the company uses for its daily operations. Those systems will allow the company to track movements of the vehicles and give them usage data. The company expects that this system will help in decrease its fuel use by about ten percent. It also hopes it will decrease the number of accidents the company's vehicles are in.
