Polycom (News - Alert) Inc. rules the video conferencing industry in China. There is no doubt that the growing use of video conferencing, video surveillance, digital home, IPTV (News - Alert) and other communication technologies are helping Chinese companies get more business and changing the way people work and learn.

The latest finding by CCW Research, a Chinese IT market research and consulting company reveals that Polycom holds 51.4 percent market share in video conferencing in 2011. CCW Research provides professional study, consulting, analysis and forecast for government, industries and leading vendors both domestic and abroad.

Polycom is working with leading service providers to help them deliver Video-as-a-Service (VaaS) offerings to their customers.

According to a press release, the results are mentioned in the report “Development Trends of Chinese Market Videoconferencing Systems 2011-2012."

Yang Ke, consulting director of CCW Research said, “Polycom held 51.4 percent market share in the China video conferencing market in 2011, demonstrating its strength in delivering industry-leading video collaboration solutions that meet the needs of China customers.”

Polycom is working with prominent telecom service providers to help them deliver Video-as-a-Service (VaaS) offerings to their customers.
