Integra Telecom Giving Away Free High-Speed Internet to Phoenix Area Non-Profit

By Joe Eitel, TMCnet Contributing Writer

As part of its Community Connection campaign, Integra Telecom Inc. plans to donate a year of free high-speed Internet to a non-profit organization in the Phoenix area. The winner of the free Internet will be chosen according to nominations by local businesses.

Area businesses can nominate their favorite non-profit organizations until May 7, when the voting closes. The top 10 most nominated non-profits will enter into a random drawing to see which organization takes the grand prize. The drawing takes place on May 17 from 4 to 6 pm at Integra’s Phoenix offices. The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce will be attending the event.

To qualify, the non-profit must be a registered 501 C3 (News - Alert) or C4. It also must be located in the Phoenix area. Finally, the non-profit must serve in one of the following three areas: youth development/education, health or community outreach programs.

George Lara, Integra director of sales, business services group, said in a press release, “Integra believes and practices its core company value of service. We are excited to bring this program to the Phoenix market and further establish Integra as a member of this community and supporter of local organizations.”
