Digium's Switchvox Wins Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement
Digium, an Asterisk company, announced that Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) recognized Digium with the 2011 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement.
The recognition is based on Frost & Sullivan’s recent analysis of the small and medium businesses (SMB) unified communications (UC) market. Digium's Switchvox is a complete UC platform for SMBs.
Integrating PBX (News - Alert), fixed mobile convergence and mobility, conference bridge, call queues, fax server, instant messaging and unified messaging onto a single rack mount or desktop appliance, Switchvox (News - Alert) addresses customers issues.
Customers can access main applications through customizable Switchboard UC interface that offers a personalized view of their communications environment and tools. The system is designed to support standards-based SIP phones to offer price points and sources to purchase their end points.
“Digium (News - Alert) stands tall among SMB-focused UC vendors,” said Robert Arnold, research analyst at Frost & Sullivan, in a statement. “In fact, the revenues from Switchvox represent the fastest growing part of Digium's business; representing more than 30 percent growth in 2010.”
Contextual communications capability is the backbone of unified communications. Switchvox UC connects people and information in a contextual way. Digium is one of the leading SMB-focused UC vendors when it comes to UC client shipment growth year-over-year.
Digium designs its solutions for sophisticated functionality without complex ownership. Switchvox UC solutions are cost-effective over the lifecycle of the system, including ongoing support and maintenance costs, as well as upgrades.
