- ServiceWare Inc. announced it will enhance its
presence in the international market with the establishment of a new International
Headquarters in the UK. David Dow, former Business Development and
Finance Director for Primus Knowledge, has joined ServiceWare as Managing Director of
International Operations.
- Optima Direct, Inc., part of Rapp Collins
Worldwide, announced the appointment of Tim Searcy as president. Searcy
will report to Kevin Potter, previously president and CEO. Potter is a
12-year veteran and founding partner in Optima Direct, which has gone on to be the leader
in telemarketing sales, membership acquisition, customer service, grassroots lobbying,
voter contact and fundraising.
- The Phillips Group-InfoTech, the
Parsippany-based arm of The Phillips Group named Clark N. Okun of Wayne.
NJ, as Director of the Enterprise Consulting Practice (ECP). The announcement was made by Alan
Mendelson, president and CEO of the Phillips Group of Parsippany and London.
- Newbridge Networks announced the appointment of Andreas
Dohmen as executive vice president and general manager, Europe, Middle East and
Africa (EMA). Mr. Dohmen will lead the sales, marketing and customer operations for
markets throughout EMA.
- PakNetX Corporation, a provider of Integrated
contact center (ICC) systems, announced that Rick Mace has been appointed
president and chief executive officer. At PakNetX, Mace will assume overall responsibility
for day-to-day company operations as well as strategic direction. At the same time,
founder and former CEO Bruce Allen will continue his role as chairman of
PakNetX.
- Williams Communications, a provider
of carrier-focused fiber-optic networks and business communications solutions, announced Bob
McCoy, the new general counsel of Williams Communications Group. McCoy, a
longtime Williams attorney who has extensive experience in telecommunications industry
legal issues will succeed David P. Batow.
- VocalTec Communications, Ltd., the IP (Internet
protocol) communications company, named Elon Ganor its chief executive
officer (CEO). Ganor, current chairman, previously has held the CEO post, during which
time he oversaw the company's rapid rise in the Voice over IP industry (VoIP) it helped to
create. He will immediately assume the responsibilities of Doron Zinger,
outgoing president and CEO, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
