- The Board of Directors of Locus Dialogue Inc.
announced the appointment of Mary Dunlop as President and Chief Executive
Officer. Locus Dialogue provides innovative automatic speech recognition (ASR) technology,
focusing on solutions that meet the needs of this growing market through commercialized
speech applications and technology partnerships.
- TeleDirect International, Inc., a provider of call
center management solutions, announced the executive promotion of Rita Dearing
to vice president of marketing. Dearing will be responsible for leading the product
marketing and marketing communications initiatives for the organization.
The company also announced the appointment of John C. Dontje as Vice
President of Professional Services. Dontje's mission is to expand TeleDirect's
professional services division, which encompasses the consulting services, client training
and project management departments.
- TellSoft Technologies, Inc. announced the addition of
Hewlett-Packard's (HP) Scott King as vice president of worldwide sales
and MarketScape's Bill Alexander as chief financial officer to its
management team. Together, King and Alexander bring over 25 years of combined computer,
telephony and communications experience to TellSoft.
- Octave Communications Inc., a leader
in collaborative Web-based telephony applications, announced Thomas Berger
has joined the company as the new president and CEO of Octave Communications. Berger will
assume a leadership role in the daily operations of the company. Robert Scott,
the prior president and CEO will now serve as founder and chairman of the board, and will
cultivate Octave's continued sales, marketing and business development success.
- Craig Lotz has joined Melita
International as senior vice president, worldwide sales & marketing. Most recently
the president and CEO of the US Division of Telstra, a global telecommunications company
based in Australia, Lotz also was the president and CEO for DirectoryNET and held
progressive senior management positions at AT&T Global Information Solutions (formerly
NCR Corporation). At Melita, Lotz will be responsible for sales and marketing efforts
worldwide.
- Christopher McGregor has been promoted to the new position of Vice
President, Engineering at Telemac Corporation, a
leader in handset-based wireless technology with nearly 1.5 million Telemac-Enabled
cellular phones sold worldwide.
- GWI Software, a provider of Lotus Notes-based customer
relationship management solutions, announced that Stephanie Fuhrman has
been promoted to president and Chris Johnston has been promoted to vice
president of sales. Both Fuhrman and Johnston will report directly to Daren Nelson, the
companys founder and chief executive officer.
