- InternetSpeech.com, an Internet Service
Provider which lets people use simple voice commands to surf the Web and hear Web content
over any phone, has named Dr. Emdad Khan as its president and CEO. The
company also named Ed Kennedy as its vice president of marketing and
sales.
- RADVision, a provider of industry-standard
products and technology needed for real-time voice and video communication over IP,
announced the appointment of David Seligman as chief financial officer.
- COM2001.com announced that Bob Armao
joins its management team as chief operating officer. Armao will strategically lead
COM2001's operations in the United States and planned efforts overseas.
- Network Programs (India) Ltd. has appointed
Rajesh Handu as director, business development for the CTI product family
CallFlow Suite.
- eShare Technologies announces the appointment of a
new sales executive for its e360 solutions business unit, which offers customers a
comprehensive solution combining both Web and telephony platforms. Formerly the vice
president of international sales, Jerry Hatton will expand his role to
become senior vice president of worldwide sales, e360 Solutions.
- NEXTLINK Communications, Inc., one of the nation's
fastest growing providers of broadband communications services, announced it has named Nancy
Gofus as vice president and chief marketing officer. She will be responsible for
the company's marketing services, product development and overall marketing strategy.
- AFFINA, an industry leader in providing
comprehensive marketing services to Fortune 1000 clients, announced that Christine
Kowalczyk has been named president and general manager of AFFINA Select. A newly
formed business unit, AFFINA Select provides high-quality customer relationship management
(CRM) programs to clients with low-volume needs.
- eLoyalty announced it hired Ronald H.
Harris as vice president, Global Loyalty Partners. Harris' extensive experience
includes positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Apprise Corporation, IBM, and Moore
Products Company.
- TeleSales, Inc., a leader in the LiveHelp
Services business, announced that it promoted Robert B. Baker to vice
president, Technology and Partnerships, and Laurie Page to vice
president, Client Services.

Nicoli as director of marketing and communications.
- Intertech Management Group, a leading

announced that experienced customer support professional Bill McCausland
has joined the company as senior vice president of operations.

Davis, president and CEO of InterWorld Corporation, has been appointed to its
board of directors.
- V-SPAN has announced the hiring of Richard
Ruben as vice president of corporate development and chieffinancial officer. Jeff
Dayton has been named chief information officer. The expansion of the V-SPAN
executive management team will provide the leadership required to drive the organization's
broadband services initiatives.
- Franklin Telecom announced that Phil
Ericson, president and founder of ICI, has joined the VoIP equipment manufacturer
as its chief operating officer. Ericson has been a major force in the development of
digital telephony and the emergence of voice over the Internet applications.
- Red Hat, Inc., the market leader in open source
solutions, announced the appointment of Michael Tiemann to the position
of chief technical officer. Tiemann was co-founder and acting CTO of Cygnus Solutions,
which Red Hat acquired this month.
- Computer I/OT Corporation, a leading provider of
technology, products and services for accessing real-time or complex data streams,
announced the appointment of Hussein Sallam to chief technology officer
and vice president of engineering.
- NICE Systems announced that Moshe Ronen,
former president and chief executive officer of Israel's largest cable TV company, has
been named as the new president and CEO of NICE Systems, effective May 2000. Ronen will be
responsible for leading NICE's global operations, leveraging the company's success and
gearing it up for the new opportunities of the 21st century.
