Avira To Sell Online Anonymity By-The-Month

In response to customer requests, Avira announced two new monthly pricing options and product configurations for its popular Phantom VPN (Virtual Private Network) security app.

Dubbed 'Phantom VPN Pro,' Avira now offers a mobile-only configuration with a monthly subscription price of $4.49 for Android (News - Alert) devices and $4.99 for iOS devices, and an all-devices configuration with a monthly subscription price of $9.99. Avira Phantom VPN Pro can be downloaded at Avira.com, at the Apple App Store, at Google Play, and other selected download sites.

Avira's award-winning security engineers designed Phantom VPN Pro for active travellers and mobile-centric executives. An Expedia/Egencia research report found that 84% of travellers want to be able to access information from anywhere, 60% say they never really unplug-even on leisure trips-and 35% claim to use their mobile devices even more on while travelling than at home.
