Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division Launched within FUJIFILM North America Corporation
FUJIFILM
North America Corporation announced today that a new business
division, the Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division
(IBD), has been launched. The new division has two major segments:
corporate new business development and industrial products. The
Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division will be led
by Division President, Dr. Bruce Novich.
The mission of the IBD is to accelerate Fujifilm's global business
expansion by driving emerging and enabling technologies and products
into new and expanding markets, and to also provide a commercial
framework to support customer technology innovation and new product
launches. IBD will use existing Fujifilm business relationships and
develop new commercial and development partnerships using several
emerging collaboration tools.
The Industrial Products segment of the IBD is comprised of several
diversified market leading businesses. Exemplary IBD businesses include
highly functional films such as Exclear touch sensor films for the flat
panel display and mobile computing markets; Prescale critical property
indicating films that measure the intensity and spatial distribution of
pressure, heat or UV light for the industrial manufacturing and
metrology markets; and Apura gas separation membrane modules used in the
oil and gas separations market.
The IBD also serves the more established imaging businesses by providing
both film and digital imaging solutions. These include VU/HR2
non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment and products for digital and IX
film industrial X-ray radiography primarily serving the aerospace,
automotive and energy markets, and digital and film archive media
products for the long term preservation of government, industrial and
personal records.
"The Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division will
connect current and future customers to the broad technology and product
offerings developed by Fujifilm's renowned research and development
capabilities in Jaan and around the world," said Dr. Bruce Novich,
Division President, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Industrial and
Corporate New Business Development Division.
