Arrow Electronics To Offer Silex Technology Wireless Connectivity Solutions
Arrow Electronics (News - Alert), Inc. (NYSE: ARW), has signed a global distribution
agreement with Silex Technology, a leader of reliable Wi-Fi connectivity
solutions. Under the agreement, Arrow will distribute Silex Technology
Wi-Fi modules to its broad base of customers.
Silex Technology is a Freescale (News - Alert) Proven Partner and created the
Freescale-recommended Wi-Fi solution for i.MX6-based products. Silex
Technology is also one of approximately ten Qualcomm Atheros (News - Alert) Authorized
Design Centers in the world, with radio source code and access to
Qualcomm Atheros engineering to provide customers with the high level of
support that they require. Arrow customers now can purchase Silex
Technology modules to add Wi-Fi connectivity to their Freescale i.MX6-
and Kinetis-based applications.
