OT to Showcase Its Embedded Secure Element (eSE) Based Mobile ID Solution at the Mobile World Congress 2015

Oberthur Technologies (OT), a world leader in digital security solutions for the mobility space today announced its selection by Samsung (News - Alert) to showcase its embedded Secure Element (eSE) based Mobile ID solution at Samsung booth 8.1 at the Mobile World Congress 2015.

OT has developed and industrialized the most advanced and secure large-memory embedded Secure Element. This trusted element in the NFC ecosystem facilitates the deployment of various corporate mobile applications with hardware rooted security. It is already embedded in most of the current flagship Samsung smartphones.

OT's Guardialys™ Mobility solution for eSE is designed for government agencies and security oriented organizations to enhance the security of enterprise applications while offering mobility experience to employees. This solution utilizes an embedded crypto chip of the mobile device to offer applications such as secure e-mail, building and network access applications on mobile phones or tablets. It is fully compatible with other environments, such as US government agencies which are looking to extend the credentialing solutions from smart cards to mobile devices.
