SpiderCloud Partners with Tango to Deliver Mobile Unified Communications

SpiderCloud Wireless, a provider of a small cell managed services platform, recently partnered with Tango Networks (News - Alert) (News - Alert), a company that transforms mobile phones into enterprise office phones, to deliver mobile unified communication (UC) services and advanced PBX (News - Alert) functions to small cell networks in response to the growing demand for mobility in the workplace.

Their joint approach targets small cell systems and provides enterprise customers with mobile coverage and capacity inside buildings by extending mobile UC services and high-quality wireless access instead of requiring a special handset or dialer application or by forcing mobile voice over Wi-Fi.

Combining SpiderCloud’s Enterprise Radio Access Network (E-RAN) system and Tango’s Small Cell Connect provides secure and guaranteed connectivity between small cells, enterprise unified communications, PBX systems and mobile networks, enabling users to use their mobile like a desk phone. The E-RAN system consists of two elements, the SpiderCloud Radio Node (SCRN) and the SpiderCloud Services Node (SCSN), making it possible to “densify” an in-building network without impacting the rest of the network.
