Comverse Offering Solutions for Communications-Dependent Enterprises at Mobile World Congress
Medicine, transportation, commerce, government, education, entertainment, social networking, publishing, music and security; these are just a few of the fields throughout the world that are slowly becoming dependent on mobile communications. At Mobile World Congress, Comverse (News - Alert), a provider of software and systems for billing, customer management, mobile Internet and value-added services, will feature the theme, “Enabling a World of Connected Possibilities” at its booth. Comverse will also offer a workshop called “Connecting Telecom and Social Media” on Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitors to the Comverse booth can expect to see new opportunities in cloud-based services, industry-specific CRM, emerging social media applications and machine-to-machine monetization. All of these opportunities are designed to enhance the connectivity and interoperability of a variety of industries using mobile communications.
Products featured at the booth will include the Comverse ONE BSS solution, which allows CSPs to monetize virtually all service, content and business across multiple platforms while creating segmented customer experiences with industry-specific CRM. The solution accomplishes this integration with Service Enablement Middleware, which opens up CSPs to services and applications across multiple networks and multiple devices. With IP Messaging, existing assets are transitioned to an all-IP ecosystem.
Other solutions to be demonstrated will include the Comverse ONE Active Billing and Customer Management Solution, which is designed to accelerate monetization and market innovation, and the Social Support System, which connects social media to CSPs. Specific products include Comverse’s Converged Social and Messaging Inbox, Clientless Visual Voicemail, Visual Voicemail on Facebook (News - Alert) and Safe Drive, a hands-free text messaging system to use while driving a car. Comverse managed services experts will be on-hand to demonstrate how these solutions can both increase efficiency and accelerate time-to-market.
Mobile World Congress will take place in Barcelona between Feb. 27 and March 1 at Fira Montjuic. The conference is designed to examine the current state of mobile and to predict where mobile technology will go next. In addition to keynotes and panel discussions, the conference will feature over 1,400 exhibitors, including Comverse.
