NetLogic Microsystems presents at ESC/MultiCore Expo & Interop 2010

NetLogic Microsystems (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of high-performance intelligent semiconductor solutions for next-generation Internet networks announced that the company will showcase its portfolio of high-performance multi-core processors, knowledge-based processors and 10/40/100 Gigabit PHY solutions at two upcoming exhibitions.

The first event of these two will be the Embedded Systems Conference/MultiCore Expo 2010 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., while the second one will be the Interop 2010 to be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At the ESC (News - Alert)/MultiCore Expo, the company will deliver a feature presentation entitled 'Multi-Core and Multi-Threading Optimizations for Carrier-Grade Applications' on the April 27. In this presentation, a number of vital issues such as the processing challenges of next-generation service provider networks, and the hardware and software optimizations required for multi-core, multi-threaded processors to address the unique challenges and requirements will be discussed.

The attendees of this presentation will be able to have an insight on how they can adopt application-level parallelism to achieve the performance and reliability that is necessary for maximizing the efficiency of inter-application communication and addressing the critical resource allocation and access for both synchronous and asynchronous processing. At the same event, NetLogic Microsystems will be present on the Wind River (News - Alert) Expert Panel, where it will discuss its vision and success in multi-core processor products with other companies, and will also offer its views upon next-generation multi-core technologies.

While at Interop (News - Alert) 2010, the company will provide a number of product demonstrations at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev. NetLogic Microsystems will be showcasing its advanced enterprise, data center, communications and security platforms that are vital in powering the knowledge-based processors, 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet PHYs and multi-core, multi-threaded processors offered by the company. Interested attendees can send an e-mail at [email protected] in order to to schedule an appointment to meet NetLogic Microsystems at Interop 2010.

In February 2010, NetLogic Microsystems' processor solutions had been selected by ZTE (News - Alert) Corporation, a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions for its next-generation mobile infrastructure network products. ZTE picked NetLogic Microsystems' multi-core, multi-threaded XLR processors and NL7000 knowledge-based processors for its next-generation mobile core network products across TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000, WiMax, WCDMA and GSM.
