Last year, NetScout (News - Alert) was nominated as one of three finalists for the collaboration portion of Interop’s Best of Interop 2011 awards – and although Vidyo (News - Alert), Inc. ended up taking first place, being selected as one of the top three finalists is a pretty decent accomplishment to have under the belt.

This year, NetScout is back – with a few educational ideas up its sleeve.

Interop (News - Alert) Las Vegas is just a few days away, and NetScout Systems, Inc. has finally revealed its plans for the event. May 8 -9, the unified service delivery company will be hosting three different educational technology lectures, touching on voice, video and data service delivery, as well as security, voice and video unified communications services.

The first presentation – May 8 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PDT – is entitled “Transformation of Performance Management: Assuring Voice, Video and, Data Service Delivery”. A couple hours later, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., the “Fortify Your Security Investigation and Incident Response Capabilities” presentation will wrap things up for the day, and Wednesday will host only one session – A Practical Approach to Assuring Voice and Video Unified Communications (News - Alert) Services.

During each of the three, prizes will be handed out to participants and everyone will have the chance to partake in a raffle for a new iPad. 

Aside from the lectures, NetScout will be set up at booth 1351 to present a few of its top products and services, as well as tending to Interop’s temporary network - InteropNet Network Operations Center.

NetScout’s main point of focus, as far as demonstration goes, will be on its nGenius Service Assurance Solution, which works with advanced packet flow technologies to keep things performing smoothly, deliver services in a consistent manner, and protects and simplifies delivery management.

The event is open to all expo pass holders – so those who plan on going need to make sure and register on the Interop Las Vegas site ASAP.
