Anue Systems Unveils New NTO Platform

At the Interop (News - Alert) Las Vegas, Anue Systems, a provider of network visibility systems launched its newest Net Tool Optimizer (NTO) product – the 5273 high availability platform, designed for telecommunication and cable service providers.

As stated by the company in a press release, telecommunication and cable service providers can now leverage the carrier class 5273 NTO, a full NEBS Level 3 compliant device, to meet network performance goals and keep up with increased bandwidth demand created by rapidly growing mobile and video content traffic. The platform is noted to come with powerful management tools, flexible upgrade options and intuitive drag-and-drop GUI.

“Our NTO systems are easy to use and provide value for our customers within a matter of minutes, through increased network visibility and tool utilization,” Keith Cheney, senior vice president at Anue Systems said in a press release.

“As a direct result of the increased visibility, our customers experience a reduction in network outages, an improvement in network performance and an increase in the data center teams’ overall productivity. With the 5273 NTO, we are now bringing this critical functionality to service providers whose network availability standards are among the highest in the industry,” Cheney added.

The Anue NTO is said to aggregate data from multiple visibility points and ensure the delivery of mission critical network traffic to essential monitoring tools, giving data center teams complete network visibility. The product’s automation capabilities allow customers to dynamically configure the NTO in response to real-time network events

In addition, the Anue NTO plugs into existing network management systems to give visibility into Simple Network Management Systems statistics that relate to the network monitoring configurations. It supports standard management information bases and offers extensive MIB access for the vast array of statistical information that the NTO generates. Its drag-and-drop graphical user interface gives network engineers the ability to easily connect monitoring tools to the corresponding SPAN ports and taps, optimizing tool utilization and network performance.

Key features of the newly launched 5273 NTO are: fully NEBS Level 3 Compliant without exceptions, redundant, hot-swappable power/fan modules, redundant management ports, CO compliant front-to-back airflow with filtration, local and remote alarm support, craft Interface for Emergency Out-of-Band Reset and connectivity.

Recently, Anue Systems in association with Spirent Communications (News - Alert), a global provider of Ethernet networks device and services testing, announced the launch of a mobile backhaul testing solution to validate timing and synchronization as well as carrier Ethernet protocols including SyncE, IEEE1588 / PTPv2, and EthOAM.
