Oxygen DCT Brings a Plethora of New Broadcast Products to IBC 2012

Oxygen DCT recently announced that it will be displaying its newly introduced Evolution ProFlex monitors at IBC 2012. The Evolution ProFlex monitors along with a number of new products will be introduced by Oxygen DCT for the first time in Europe. Oxygen DCT's Evolution Pro range has been designed as low cost, high performance monitors ideal for installations limited by budgetary constraints.

In a release, Steve Hathaway, Oxygen DCT’s managing director, said that, "With Evolution ProFlex monitors we are giving control rooms and galleries access to professional grade monitoring, thus negating the need to use large domestic televisions that don’t offer the same level of picture quality. This new monitor range is flexible and capable of being driven by multi-viewer systems with between four and 64 signals on a single screen."

The New range of Evolution ProFlex monitors includes seven different sizes that range from 9.7" to a high performance 10 bit, 1.06 billion color 55" model and the mega 70'' screen. The new monitors come in a consistent ergonomic design capable of broadcasting color reproduction via adjustable color controls, contrast, and backlight setting options which make it easy for users to match color panels.

Each screen comes with a high performance next-generation LCD panel as well as low energy LED backlighting. ProFlex monitors can be controlled via rear mounted buttons or via a plug-in remote control panel and have been based on the DVI and HDMI standards.

The company in its announcement also said that it will be introducing its robust and feature-rich 3G 2-channel test signal generator at IBC 2012. The cost-effective OxTPG 1000 includes a number of high definition standards such as the 3G and HD/SDI up to 1080p resolution. Although OxTPG 1000 work well for film and broadcast applications, they are ideally suited for Outside Broadcast environments.

The OxTPG 1000 has been designed with output modes including SD/SDI, HD/SDI and 3G/SDI test signals. Audio has also been included within the test signal output with an option for supplying fiber optic links if required. An on-board battery can easily power the unit thus adding to its versatility and usage.
