Kony Solutions announced at the CTIA 2010 show that the Kony Mobile Application Platform now supports the new Apple (News - Alert) iPad.

The Kony Mobile Application Platform uses the Write Once, Run Everywhere technology, which enables an application to be designed and developed, just once, in a device independent manner and then delivered across all of device operating systems. With this, companies can fasten deployments, reduce overall costs, and increase profits and productivity, claims Kony.

With Apple iPad being added to the Kony Solutions Mobile Application Platform, companies can overcome the complexity and constant change in computing and mobile devices. They can also provide a high-value experience at an economical cost of ownership to their customers.

In February, the company announced that it supports the Google Nexus One phone. In addition, it supports all other predecessor phones that run on the Android (News - Alert) mobile operating system, including the Motorola Droid and HTC Hero. Kony Mobile Application Platform generates rich native mobile applications, device-optimized mobile websites and messaging channels, the company stated.
