Enspert to Unveil SoIP (S2) Homestation at CTIA Wireless

Insprit, along with Enspert, formerly known as Inbrics, a subsidiary company and a major player in converged media solutions, would unveil the second generation of their SoIP Homestation, the S2, at the International CTIA (News - Alert) Wireless Show, Las Vegas.
Officials with Insprit said that the S2 Homestation is an android-based 3Screen Media Convergence Device that allows seamless provision and sharing of digital multimedia contents from mobile phones, IPTV (News - Alert), PC, home network and security.
Company officials said that uniquely equipped with a detachable 7inch Color TFT-LCD Display (WVGA, 800x480) Touch Screen, and a 1.3M (News - Alert) Pixel (swivel-angle enabled) camera, the S2 Homestation integrates various content from the Internet, broadcasting, Intranet, PC and/ or mobile phones.
Content such as games, location-based services, real-time transportation information, shopping, banking, video calls, IPTV controls and much more, are all integrated via WiFi (News - Alert) 802.11 b/g/n, DETC and/or Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
'While the S1 Homestation continues to have robust sales interest, our push to introduce a portable-screen Homestation has resulted in an advanced product that will drive the future of what the worldwide consumer can do with a smart home device,' said Bobby Cha, managing director, Enspert, in a statement.
Cha said the S2 Homestation exemplifies the company's innovative spirit and the ingenuity of world-class engineering team.
Company officials also reported a substantial contract award from KT (News - Alert) Corporation, formerly Korea Telecom, for the commercialization of the device in 2H 2010.
Under the terms of the contract with KT, The S2 Homestation will be distributed for mass commercialization to the Korean market in 2H 2010.
KT Corporation provides telecommunication services including local, long distance, and international calling, satellite communication, data transmission, and wireless telephone services in South Korea. The company also offers network portal and high-speed Internet access services using asymmetric digital subscriber lines (ADSLs).
Cha said that the company is extremely excited about the consistent demand for converged IP media solutions - both at home and abroad -- and to have a contract with KT for mass commercialization of the S2 in place.
“With consumers worldwide constantly in search of the most innovative, yet functional devices, we look forward to achieving similar, if not greater levels of success in the U.S., Western Europe, and other regions targeted for 2010 expansion,' he said.
Enspert's technology addresses rising consumer demand for digital solutions that efficiently and rapidly push data, such as movies and photos, across multiple devices. The Convergence One or '3 Screen Plus' Android platform developed by Enspert and parent company Insprit, for which the MID M1 device can serve as a controller, and facilitates ease-of-use for consumers to access and share digital photos, music, movies and other media across multiple devices.
