Acision to Demonstrate Broadband Mobility Suite at CTIA Spring 2010

Acision (News - Alert), a major player in mobile data, will provide a live demonstration of its Broadband Mobility Suite, or “BMS,” at CTIA (News - Alert) Spring.

Officials with Acision claimed that the company’s BMS is one of the first solutions to combine all of the capabilities operators need to address today’s mobile broadband challenge, such as policy management and enforcement, web and media optimization, service allowance and bundle management, charging, location-awareness and VAS – uniquely pairing control and cost saving measures with the creation of revenue generation.

Company officials said that among its many features, BMS comprises of unparalleled policy-based, rich-media optimization capabilities yielding significant savings for operators in reducing the cost of peak capacity provision while improving user experience.

According to company officials, Acision’s solution at the show will focus on service bundling options, usage control and driving consumer behavior, spotlighting how operators can improve their profits by moving away from today’s flat fee packages and differentiating their offerings to meet specific customer needs.

At CTIA Spring 2010, Acision will also showcase its spectrum of real-time mobile data solutions – across mobile data services, mobile data control and mobile data charging – which enable operators to introduce new services while controlling, optimizing and monetizing data traffic.

Company officials said that in addition to its focus on mobile data solutions, Acision will also showcase recent deployments and Acision Innovation Network partnerships.

Back in February Acision had announced that Tata Teleservices (News - Alert), one of the fastest growing dual technology telecom service providers in India, has selected Acision SMSC, Acision MMSC, Acision Business Tools, and Acision’s mobile data charging solution for its brands – Tata Indicom, which is CDMA services, and Tata DOCOMO, which is GSM services.

Tata Teleservices wanted to work with a strategic partner to provide value-added services that will support the service provider in increasing the revenue potential sitting in both its networks.

As Tata’s incumbent messaging supplier since 2004, Acision was selected because of its ability to offer high-performance, scalable mobile data solutions that are focused on supporting Tata Teleservices current and future business strategy and help its services stand out in an increasingly competitive Indian market.
