Movius DebutsCross Carrier Multiple Identities Solution at CTIA Wireless 2012

Movius Interactive Corporation announced it will demo a new cross carrier multiple identity solution at CTIA Wireless (News - Alert) 2012, May 8-10 in New Orleans. The new solution will offer service providers the benefit of bill separation for SMS and data usage over the same mobile device.

Service providers can use the “myIdentities” solution to separately bill customers over their voice, SMS and data usage for the same mobile device irrespective of the carrier within the wireless, wire line and/or cable and MSO Markets.

The myIdentities solution has been developed in collaboration with Cellrox Ltd., provider of mobile BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solutions. The solution not only offers customers the benefit of bill separation, but provides end users more flexibility in separating, monitoring and securing the various sections of their mobile usage.

“myIdentities provides individuals and enterprises with a simpler, unified communication solution which addresses the vital need for security, privacy, convenience and accessibility in the evolving business, personal and social environments,” said Amit Modi, Senior Vice President and GM of Products and Technology at Movius (News - Alert). “End users can segment their personal and social identities from their professional environment and manage them on one device.”

The latest offering from Movius will also allow service providers to offer end users additional voice and messaging services regardless of service provider,  allowing for liberal communications convergence of wireless, wire line and MSO players.

“This collaboration with Movius is a great example of the requirements of the telecommunication and enterprise markets today, exhibiting strong demand for solutions that enable multiple personas on a single device,” said Omer Eiferman, Cellrox CEO. “Carriers all over the world, as well as enterprises, can benefit from offering extended device use and catering to the BYOD trend.”

The distinction between all applications and service is maintained by each workspace or persona as accessing of information from others by one identity is restricted, which effectively boosts privacy and security for the end user.
