Immix Wireless Deploys Interop's Hosted CSC Gateway Solution
By Jayashree Adkoli, TMCnet Contributor
Interop (News - Alert) Technologies announced that it is providing its hosted Common Short Code (CSC) Gateway to Pennsylvania wireless network Immix Wireless, enabling universal routing
and ultimately increasing company revenue.
Interop Technologies is a provider of advanced wireless technology solutions for the global wireless, packaged goods, and content industries. The company delivers hosted and turnkey messaging, device management, and entertainment and personalization solutions.
Immix Wireless provides GSM voice service and data service using GPRS
technology, and offers coverage throughout Berks, Centre, Clinton, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, and Union counties. The company offers nationwide plans through partnerships with AT&T (News - Alert) Wireless, T-Mobile, and other GSM
providers.
Deploying of Interop’ CSC Gateway (News - Alert) solution allows Immix Wireless to have ubiquitous connectivity with billing support from a single point of contact, thereby avoiding the need to manage multiple third-party content relationships. The solution also provides Immix Wireless customers with wallpapers, ringtones, and other content made available via short codes. The solution also supports voting campaigns, which are becoming increasingly popular in the wireless space, largely popularized by the hit TC show American Idol.
“The Interop CSC Gateway enables us to provide quality mobile content services to our customers in a way that is very capital efficient,” said Dennis Bloss, Vice President, Immix Wireless. “This hosted solution allows us to expand our content offering to include the enhanced services our customers’ request. Increasingly, wireless customers are using their phones and a five-digit code to request ringtones, subscribe to services, participate in TV voting, and much more.”
