American Roamer Unveils MapELEMENTS at CTIA WIRELESS 2011

American Roamer (News - Alert), a leading global provider of mapping intelligence source for mobile and network coverage information, has recently announced the launch and availability of the first cloud-based interactive mapping application, MapELEMENTS. MapELEMENTS will be the first cloud-based mapping application with intelligence, and designed to increase the network coverage information for the wireless, cable and telecom ecosystem. American Roamer will be showcasing MapELEMENTS at booth 3665, at the International CTIA WIRELESS 2011, from March 22, through March 24, 2011.

In a release, Bryan Darr, president and CEO of American Roamer said that, “MapELEMENTS gives industry decision makers the intelligence to make sound business decisions, acquire and retain customers and execute with a solid information base. With the lines blurring between communications services providers, the emergence of 4G and the increasing strains on bandwidth, this visual tool provides timely information to help users make key decisions in a rapidly changing environment.”

American Roamer has been recognized as an in-depth information provider offering comprehensive, interactive information relating to coverage patterns, spectrums, network configurations and licensing data for more than 20 years. MapELEMENTS essentially integrates the geospatial software development and wireless coverage information obtained from American Roamer, broadcast and cable television data from MediaBiz, and telecom network expertise of GeoResults. The combined information is then relayed with a robust interactive mapping and powerful telecom coverage information for a superior user experience.

It is a unique experience for the users to be able to create and save custom maps with tailored snapshots of any combination of chosen data. Users can reorder, change and manage the transparency of each individual coverage pattern. The solution also includes advanced search and filtering functions that provide the capability to quickly select the layers and display them on the map. Users can also include information about their internal customer segmentation data, network information, retail store locations or other such spatial information which will help to improve MapELEMENTS’ ability to analyze data quickly and easily relating to specific business needs.
