Verizon Wireless at The Consumer Electronics Show 2013

Soon after New Year’s Day, the global technology world pays full attention to Las Vegas, following the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It is one of the biggest and most popular technology trade shows of its kind, presenting a common platform for global manufacturers, industry leaders, and service and software developers from across the world to talk about the hottest trends for the year ahead.

More and more industry leaders and service providers from the wireless sector are making their presence felt at the Consumer Electronics Show, which proudly includes Verizon Wireless, a provider of 3G and 4G LTE network. Located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Verizon Wireless is a joint venture of Vodafone (News - Alert) and Verizon Communications, which makes it a major player in wireless data and voice services.

Highlighting the theme of ‘Inspiring Innovations,’ Verizon (News - Alert) will once again participate in the reputable Consumer Electronics Show 2013, presenting a comprehensive range of innovations in its booth, LVCC, South Hall, #31400. Dedicatedly working with more than 40 partners now, Verizon technology highlighted at CES 2013 includes telematics, video solutions, smart accessories, consumer devices, and machine to machine solutions, which include retail, healthcare, energy, and more.

After several years of being an important part of the Consumer Electronics Show, Verizon Wireless (News - Alert) has made some great news, announcing an array of consumer multimedia entertainment products during the mid-2000s. During 2010, almost a year prior to the market launch of 4G LTE (News - Alert) networks, Verizon highlighted a myriad of technology products that would successfully leverage the new 4G LTE network that is now available commercially. In the year 2011, after the commercial launch of 4G LTE networks to 100 million people in the United States, Verizon Wireless launched 10 consumer devices based on the powerful networking system, and significantly expanded its CES booth to exemplify the work of the ever growing 4G LTE ecosystem in the market.

The chief executive officer and chairman of Verizon, Lowell McAdam (News - Alert), will deliver a strategic keynote on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, highlighting the business perspective to attendees. It is expected that other executives from across the global wireless technology business will also be present at the panel. The keynote and panel will discuss topics ranging from social experience on wireless communication devices to the connected home technology, and much more.

According to a statement published by Verizon earlier this month, the company highlighted that the Consumer Electronics Show is certainly not on the verge of decline. In fact, CES is fast evolving as a lucrative opportunity for startup businesses to present their innovations to the market, and make their presence felt in the electronics world. This particular notion will be highlighted by Verizon at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013, which will showcase broader collaborations with the large and small companies in the Verizon Innovation Program.
