FELTaudio Unveils Portable Modular Audio System

FELTaudio today unveiled the world's first portable modular audio system for mobile devices. This system is designed to provide a hassle free solution for creating an on-the-go premium audio experience.

The set is made up of two patented interchangeable Bluetooth-enabled products: REWIND, a retractable cable management system which houses premium-quality ear buds, and PULSE, the world's smallest multifunctional Bluetooth speaker. Both of these products are capable of quickly pairing with any Bluetooth-enabled device, including desktops, laptops, and Android and Apple (News - Alert) mobile devices. REWIND and PULSE also feature a clip that can be attached to gym shorts, a backpack strap or a seatbelt, which also doubles as a stand.

Meanwhile, FELTaudio has also created specially designed protective cases for the iPhone (News - Alert), iPad and iPod Touch that attach to both REWIND and PULSE, increasing portability for Apple device users.

The PULSE speaker manages to deliver impressive sound quality despite its size, while also featuring sturdy construction. Aside from its ability to appease audiophiles on the go, the PULSE speaker also features an integrated omni-directional microphone for making conference calls.

The REWIND system, meanwhile, features flat-wire ear buds that unwind and rewind seamlessly, eliminating the hassle of dealing with standard ear buds which typically tangle. Best of all, REWIND ear buds pair with any Bluetooth device quickly and are capable of operating up to 40 feet away from the device they are paired with. The system also features integrated volume controls, along with skip and answer controls on the ear bud cartridge and a microphone on the ear bud cord.

In terms of sound quality, the REWIND system sports 9.2mm drivers housed in an acoustically engineered enclosure, ensuring crisp highs and deep, punchy lows.

FELTaudio will officially debut this system at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)) in Las Vegas on January 6. Other major announcements planned for this year's CES include new Project Infrared Touch (PIT) technology from GeneralTouch Technology Co., and flexible smartphone prototypes.
